Tara Everett is a First Nations entrepreneur and proud owner of Canoe Coworking Inc. Canoe Coworking will be a hub for Indigenous business and community opening in 2019 in Winnipeg, Manitoba in Treaty One Territory and the Metis Homeland.

A dedicated First Nations professional with over four years in non-profit organisations she specializes in socio-economic environments specific to employment and economic development. With comprehensive knowledge of program development and delivery, partnership growth and Indigenous relations Tara always put the communities she serves first.

Tara is also an advocate for peoples with disabilities, mental health conditions, youth in care and empowering others to define their own point of success. Her own personal story shaped the inclusive and holistic nature of not only her work methods but also the community which she wishes to build through coworking.
