Who's Coming

With a Master of Architecture degree and over 15 years of design experience, Katie designs everything from kitchens to coworking communities. In 2013, she found coworking as a lonely entrepreneur in search of the feel of a collaborative and supportive design studio. She has been a member, an advocate and a designer for the movement ever since. She is the founder and Creative Director of Kanawha Design Studio, a firm that supports collaborative communities in the Venn diagram of design, technology and operations. She is also a graduate of Ventures, a business training program for entrepreneurs and a co-chair of the Vancouver Chapter of the Society for Experiential Graphic Design.
