Nathan Kim is a PhD candidate studying coworking space at Ivey Business School of Western University.
Nathan Kim was born and raised in South Korea. He received his Bachelor’s degree of Business Administration from Seoul National University in Seoul, Korea. After graduating Seoul National University in 2012, He came to Canada for his Master study. He received his Master of Science in Management degree from Queen’s University in Canada in 2013. He majored Business Strategy during his Master program.
Nathan’s journey to the Ph.D. program of Ivey Business School started in 2014, as an International Business major. However, after passing the comprehensive exam in 2016, he felt small businesses and entrepreneurs more fascinating than multinational enterprises and started doing Entrepreneurship research.
Nathan’s research interest is in coworking spaces and its influence on well-being of entrepreneurs, freelancers, and other knowledge workers working in coworking space. Also, Nathan studies community manager’s role for developing network of coworkers.
