My investment has always been in supporting people’s success. I’ve always believed that ‘it takes a village’ to succeed. The inspiration for Thinktank Workspace’s 2016 opening was two-fold: both the absence of spaces in our desired area, and the birth of my second child inspired me to explore my entrepreneurial calling.
Supporting people’s needs in diverse environments has always been the core of my professional aspirations.
For Six years, I supported patients as a Regulated Healthcare Professional in private and public health care settings with their physical, mental and spiritual health and wellbeing at the forefront.
The next Six years, I spent leading fifteen direct reports at the world-class Hospital For Sick Children and managed operational and clinical needs of the Orthotics department.
For the past Six years I have been supporting clients by designing and building spaces that transform their quality of life in both
Residential and Commercial settings.
And for the last two and half years I support our Thinktank community of startups and small business by facilitating member health, wellbeing, improved quality of life and a healthy inviting space and community to belong to. Networking with the coworking community has also given me the privilege of supporting new entities – providing Design and Build guidance for coworking spaces as it pertains to aesthetics, function, and monetization in drawing from my direct experience and lessons learned which has been very rewarding and fun.
My mixed experiences in Healthcare, Design, Construction and in recent years Co-Working (and let’s not forget parenting!) has shaped who I am as an entrepreneur today. Having experienced many valuable lessons along the way has put me in a position to provide support and guidance to our local, as well as the global coworking community.
