The Global Coworking Unconference Conference (GCUC \u2013 pronounced juicy) is known for being little, well…off-beat, unique and different. \u00a0We don\u2019t follow the rules and we don\u2019t pay attention to what everyone else is doing. \u00a0We march to the beat of our own drummer. We do our own thing and it seems to resonate and attract a very diverse and passionate following. <\/span><\/p>\n

We have been talking about creating an industry awards program for years and this year is the year we finally made it happen. By they way, kudos to Coshare for coming up with the fun name \u2013 Coworky Awards<\/a>! \u00a0We want to be clear that GCUC does not discriminate \u2013 if you identify with GCUC you\u2019re welcome to submit an entry! We will have a combination of votes and a jury to make things as fair as can be. \u00a0Special thanks to Coshare, Cohoots foundation and All Good Work for sponsoring this amazing first for our industry. <\/span><\/p>\n

\n<\/b>A coworking space is defined (pulled from Steve King) as a community space with the objective to work alongside but not necessarily with others. \u00a0Coworking spaces are collaborative offices where you\u2019ll see an unoffice like arrangement and discussion is encouraged along with serendipitous interactions. Please highlight what makes your design inspired, unique and cohesive for your community.<\/span><\/p>\n

Best Social Impact Program<\/strong>
\nSocial impact<\/b> is the <\/span>effect<\/b> an organization’s actions have on the well being of the community. \u00a0Your program must be part of the workspace industry or have an impact on the industry to qualify. \u00a0(examples but not eligible because they\u2019re sponsoring – Cohoots Foundation and All Good Work)<\/span><\/p>\n
