Two of my passions? The design experience and fostering relationships; between people and between businesses. Creativity and human connections leave a lasting impact that serve to build communities and businesses.
I believe design is an integral part of creating, and enhancing, the human experience within the built-environment. It can be a workplace, or a hotel, to a retail store and experiences beyond. The lines are blurring between how design is developed for industries sectors and the user experience. Design enhances learning, human connections, productivity and more. My career has focused on this basis, and particularly on the modern workplace. There is an ecosystem which supports the development and creation of the modern workplace and I have enjoyed being a part of developing these opportunities and relationships within that ecosystem in Boston. MA in the USA.
Having moved to the design side of the ecosystem, as Bergmeyer’s Director of Marketing, I oversee the firm’s business development, marketing communications and strategy. I coordinate strategic positioning efforts in all of the firm’s markets that serve to position Bergmeyer with key contacts and influencers – who ultimately will become Bergmeyer clients. I thrive on being a connector to develop relationships with the goal of creating long term valuable business relationships; many of which evolve into personal connections.
Born in Jamaica, WI, of Welsh parents, I carry both UK and US passports. I have family in the UK and consider it my “Mother Land”. London is one of my favorite cities and I’m eager to see how the London coworking community has embraced design to enhance the experience and build their communities.
