The UK flexible workspace market has seen continued growth over the last few years and coworking is now an established segment within the market.
The latest research from the Instant Group finds that demand growth is up to 23% in 2019 from 17% in 2018 and this is in addition to flexible workspace now making up 35% of commercial property transactions in London in 2019.
Most commentators believe that this trend is set to continue in addition to a greater diversity of flexible space offerings. Instant also expect that by 2023, the flexible workspace will account for 12.5% of commercial real estate, compared to current market share estimates of 4%.
The highest levels of recent growth have been in the regions, particularly in the North West and West Midlands and this will be critical to the continued growth in the sector.
This regional growth is also reflected in feedback from our last two London conferences in 2018/19 where delegates have been asking for more emphasis on the secondary cities.
In line with this growth and desire for a greater focus on the regions, GCUC is very excited to hold its first regional conference in Manchester on April 1st at the HILTON Hotel, Deansgate.
At the conference we’ll explore the latest regional trends, talk to the game changers, leading technology firms in the sector including essensys, technologywithin and Yardi and leave no stone unturned as we aim to inspire, surprise & delight you along the way whilst providing plenty of opportunities to network.
Check out out the agenda here and grab a SUPER EARLY BIRD ticket before the end of January.
