  • What does GCUC stand for?

    GCUC – Global Coworking Unconference Community

  • Why do you call it juicy?

    We noticed when you say the acronym GCUC it sounds a lot like “juicy”.

  • Why should I come to GCUC UK?

    You don’t change the world sitting at your desk writing emails. You change the world when you take the time and make the effort and invest in face to face interactions with like minded human beings.

  • Who comes to GCUC?

    Coworking space owners and operators, corporates, investors, real estate enthusiasts, developers.

  • Where will GCUC UK be hosted this year?

    GCUC will be held at Convene, 22 Bishopsgate on Wednesday 28th September 2022 – 8.00am – 6.30pm.

    Convene is located in London’s newest skyscraper and draws inspiration from the 550-year history of Bishopsgate, the design leverages archways and openings to serve as counterbalance to the elegantly staged open floor plans to ensure a proper flow through the space without compromising privacy.

     

  • Do you have any transportation recommendations?

    In our opinion tube and walking is the best way to get around London, but here is a link from the Convene website. Link

  • Do you offer group discounts?

    Yes! If you are looking at bringing 5+ people to an event send an email to [email protected] and he will give you the registration code and instructions.

  • How do I sponsor GCUC?

    Contact [email protected] for full sponsorship information or go to our Sponsorship page for more details.

  • Will the conference be live streamed?

    No, we felt that people would be keen to attend an in person event having been locked down for so long.

  • What is your twitter handle and hashtag?

    @gcucgb and during the conference we will use the hashtag #GCUCUK

  • If for some reason I can't attend, do you offer refunds?

    No, I’m sorry we do not. You can re-sell/transfer your ticket (if it explicitly says that it is transferable).  Contact [email protected] after the sale so we can change the name on your ticket and conference badge.

    Early bird, week out and door tickets are non transferable.

    If you purchased a ticket package, the package may not be broken up in any way. It can only be transferred to one person one time.

  • If for some reason the event is postponed due to Covid can I get a refund?

    Our policy is to always try and put on the event (albeit it at a later date if necessary) and as such we would transfer your ticket to the new event date.

  • Can I volunteer?

    We are currently working on our volunteer plan. Please email us at [email protected] with a short description of how you think you can help. Let us know your amazing skills and what you’re interested in doing, oh and how you heard about GCUC.

     

  • Is there a dress code?

    Bring your thinking cap for the conference and your super-fancy-dancey pants for the happy hours.

  • What if I have dietary restrictions?

    Please email [email protected] with your requests. We can not guarantee that we can accommodate all requests but we will do our very best. All requests must be submitted 15 days prior to the actual event.

  • Can I change my profile after it has been submitted?

    No, all changes have to be made by one of our team members so PLEASE double check your profile before submitting it.If you do need do change then just email us at [email protected] and we will make the changes for you.
