Melissa is an author, thought leader and international expert on the future of work. At Intel, she is Senior Principal Engineer in Client Architecture and Innovation, providing strategic recommendations and original research to inform business investments in the Client Computing Group. With over 50 peer-reviewed scholarly publications, Melissa’s writing and research influences industry, academic and policy audiences. Her latest book, Counterproductive: Time Management in the Knowledge Economy (Duke 2018) is a history of productivity in the workplace. It describes coworking as a new era of opportunity for individuals to take ownership of their working conditions and create atmospheres for collective accomplishment.
