With over 50 peer-reviewed scholarly publications, Melissa’s writing and research influences industry, academic and policy audiences. Her latest book, Counterproductive: Time Management in the Knowledge Economy (Duke 2018) is a history of productivity in the workplace. It describes coworking as a new era of opportunity for individuals to take ownership of their working conditions and create atmospheres for collective accomplishment.
