Jayson White serves as Executive Director for AOR’s growing Innovation District and serviced office advisory practice. Serving mayors’ offices, economic development authorities, and well-positioned property owners, Mr. White’s intersecting areas of expertise create unique value for AOR’s clients. Building on 10 years experience in urban innovation and mayoral leadership in cities across the United States, Jayson has an unmatched combination of urban policy expertise and knowledge of the commercial real estate industry.
In 2007, Jayson built and launched Harvard Kennedy School’s Urban Policy Advisory Group โ an executive session for Chiefs of Staff to mayors in the 50 largest and most creative cities in the country. Following his research at HKS, White has worked in several commercial real estate startups including Knotel, WeWork, Origin Spaces and other key coworking and business incubation enterprises. His forthcoming book with Mayor Mick Cornett of Oklahoma City (Penguin/RandomHouse, Fall ’18) sheds light on the unique promise of urban creativity and growth in America’s fast-growth, entrepreneur-driven small and mid-sized cities.
