My first shared workplace location was called Community Business Centers- That was 1996. Built Stratis Business Centers in 11 states. Sold to Regus in 2001 and became President GM Americas with over 300 locations. Took Regus through Bankruptcy raising stock price 11x. Left to start Worktopia, a venture-backed SaaS workspace and meeting space booking tool connected to 86,000 hotels, airport lounges and licensed to Amex Business Travel, Travelocity Business and others. Sold Worktopia. Next day, started Serendipity Labs, the original, premium corporate coworking (before that was cool). Fusing hospitality and workplace into a lifestyle brand and national network, now with over 125 locations and over $200M committed for development.
