Shervonne Cherry is the Director of Community & Partnerships for Spark Baltimore, a collaborative workspace for growing technology-focused startups, entrepreneurs, and creatives that uniquely pairs hospitality and entrepreneurship. She cultivates community development, creates networking opportunities for Spark members, supports ecosystem growth within and outside the Spark community, and fosters partnerships within the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Based in Baltimore, Maryland, Shervonne is a ecosystem builder who has worked within the government, corporate, and startup communities for over 14 years. Prior to launching Spark Baltimore in 2016, Shervonne was the Program Manager for Dreamit Health Baltimore, a venture capital and seed accelerator for health technology focused startups. She has a passion for design & technology and is actively involved in the Baltimore technology community as an organizer, speaker, and startup advocate. Shervonne currently serves on the board of Code in the Schools, and organizes for Baltimore Innovation Week and Baltimore Women in Tech.
More recently, Shervonne is focusing on the expansion of the Spark coworking community with the launch of Spark Kansas City in Kansas City, Missouri. This will be the second Spark location in the United States, and along with hospitality-focused coworking will also feature coliving for the growing Kansas City ecosystem.
