Did you hear? GCUC is headed back to Australia this August! Sydney was so good to us in 2015 that we decided we needed to bring the juice to Melbourne this time. So far 2017 has been a success for GCUC. We kicked off the year with GCUC USA in New York and announced 2 additional GCUC Global events for 2017 (Singapore and Taiwan) as well as the first GCUC Global event for 2018 (Dubai)… i’d say we are on a roll.

In case you didn’t make it across the pond for GCUC USA here’s a little recap. GCUC took place at the Convene Center in the heart of NYC and broke the US GCUC attendance record with over 500 registrants. This year the focus of the conference was The Future of Work- The Human Revolution.

Keeping with the theme, we hosted sessions on Cities as a Service, How we gather – New Communities of Belonging, Reinventing the workplace for the 21 Century and many more. Our speakers not only came from far and wide but were thought leaders across many sectors.  Notably Google, Harvard Divinity School, New Cities Foundation.  Industrious, and American Underground. Post GCUC, many wrote attendees wrote on their takeaways and those can be found here.

If that wasn’t motivation enough to grab your GCUC AU ticket, let us tell you why you need to be in attendance in Melbourne.

  • GCUC only comes to Australia once every other year, that’s right- we won’t be back until 2019. Thats a long time to wait.
  • We are bring in the unconference full force. This gives you as an owner, operator, investor or just enthusiast the platform to talk and learn about what you want (and you get to select the speakers real time).
  • GCUC also stimulates the local economy. Bringing 200+ people to a city generally brings in over 100k for  that community. Think about it… hotel cost, transportation, food and beverage, tourism, and the event itself.
  • The presentation lineup is impressive (if we do say so ourselves). Our agenda is continually being updated and speakers are being announced so keep an eye on it.

Thats enough for now. In 71 days the GCUC Crew will be headed to the land down under and we would love for you to join us. Earlybird tickets are currently on sale but will end shortly so grab yours now! See you in Melbourne.

XOXO,

The GCUC Crew
