Who's Coming

Brandon Houston

Brandon entered the world of entrepreneurship 19 years ago when he founded his first business, a web development agency that he grew for 10 years before selling it. In early 2011, while looking for a way to bring other business owners together, Brandon explored the idea of coworking and along with two partners launched his first coworking space in his rural hometown.

In 2015 he relocated to another small town of 25,000 people and acquired a video production company leaving behind his former space. But 2017, he was missing the energy that his coworking space generated, so he launched his second space, The Collingwood Foundry. Since that time the Foundry community has expanded to 7,000 sq feet and has been a driving force behind the entrepreneurial growth of Collingwood.

Brandon has worked on a variety of municipal and federal initiatives focused on supporting entrepreneurship, and it 2016 travelled to China for the G20 as part of a Canadian delegation working on youth entrepreneurship policy.
