"Get involved.......the world is run by those who show up." - Ron Nehring

Inspired business woman and community member combining innovation with the heritage that is woven into the fabric of suburban Fort Mill through a Coworking community … the first of its kind in York County! We are also a community art gallery and event venue!

For the majority of my career, I have concentrated on corporate interiors, taking on research in graduate school on the future of collaborative work spaces. After finishing my MAE, passing my design certification exams, and practicing corporate and educational interior design for several years, I began a 14 year career in higher ed.

As an instructor, I was able to teach students not only about technologies and industry practices, but I kept myself on top of advancements in corporate interiors, furnishings, and work styles by continually updating curriculum to meet the evolving world of my clients. This developed into many real world community collaborations and service opportunities, allowing students (and myself) to be exposed to advancements in corporate work environments such as the rise of coworking communities. I have been active in York County and beyond in the New World Conference, Knowledge Park visioning sessions, and Connect Our Future NC/SC collaborative workshops. I now am happy to serve on the Fort Mill Economic Council.

I produced research and presented nationally and internationally on community partnerships and service learning, social media and harnessing community assets, career exploration, and personal/professional creativity. Each of these topics is a spoke in the wheel of what makes a coworking collaborative successful.
