Here at GCUC we are immensely fortunate to cross paths and work with so many amazing people. Through our work, we’ve cultivated a global community of people we think you should know about.

Community of Cultivators is a blog series we created to introduce you to coworking game changers and connectors. Each month, we’ll release new interviews that we hope inform and inspire you.

This week’s interview is with Vandita Kedia, Co-founder of The Daftar in India. Vandita is an engineering graduate with an unmatched passion for sales. She began her entrepreneurial journey with Mint Tree, essentially focussing on lead generation. A few years and many more diverse ventures down the line, she is now a proud co-founder of one of the most sought-after coworking spaces in India,The Daftar.

Photo of Vandita KendaWhat in your life are you most proud of cultivating or creating? Why?

Mauji, It’s an Anti Cafe, a mix of Coworking and Cafe. It’s one of its kind in my city, in fact in all of India. I built the entire space during the lockdown. I really feel great that the lockdown did not discourage me, instead, I utilized the time to build something interesting and new. And it’s getting a great response too

What is one piece of advice you give everyone that works with and/or for you?

That what we are or what we have been in the past has nothing to do with what we CAN be in the future.

If you had $500 to spend- what would you buy?

A plane ticket to somewhere.

What advice would you give to someone thinking of becoming an entrepreneur?

As an entrepreneur, one important quality you need to have is keeping your mental peace no matter what the situation is, if you think you can do that then jump on the boat.

If you had to put a quote on your gravestone what would it be?

Logic will take you from A to Z, Enthusiasm & Imagination will take you everywhere else.

That’s all for this week. Come back next week for another interview.
