Focusing on their recent project in Salt Lake City, José and Jill highlighted how thoughtful design choices can enhance interactions among individuals, ultimately cultivating a sense of community and collaboration within the workspace.

“The Shop SLC is the second iteration of The Shop in New Orleans,” José said. “A lot of the lessons learned from that project were applied to Salt Lake City.”

José and Jill attest to how thoughtful design choices can enhance interactions among individuals, ultimately cultivating a sense of community and collaboration within the workspace. Their emphasis on creating spaces that encourage collaboration and fun stresses the transformative power of well-designed environments.

“We like to design buildings that are within the character of a place,” José said.

Since EskewDumezRipple have dived into the coworking world, they know a thing or two about how to elevate a space and make it worth going to. By drawing from diverse influences and engaging with various design concepts, Jill exemplifies how creativity can be showcased through architectural ingenuity and thoughtful space planning.

“We always focus a lot of time and energy on the common spaces,” Jill said. “That’s where a lot of the energy is, so it immediately immerses that individual into the space versus tucking it away.”

Jill also mentioned her secret to coworking spaces is making people feel like they are a part of something bigger, so they keep coming back to the space. Like every coworking space, an emphasis on a sense of community and collaboration is what stands out and keeps customers a priority.

Throughout the episode, listeners get a glimpse into the world of collaborative workspace design. EskewDumezRipple showcases how architectural expertise can elevate coworking spaces into vibrant hubs of productivity and creativity.
