This week’s session was all about the future of technology.

If you missed it, the replay will be available on GCUC membership later this week. We have two more sessions to go in the series Wellness and Best in Class Ecosystems, so if you do not already have your ticket, you can snag one here.

I love that the technology speakers keep reminding us of the journey, our story, the funnel and how important the humans we serve are. – Liz Elam, Founder at GCUC Global

It’s about the experience you can generate rather than the technology itself. Solving problems through technology. – Francois Chaubaudie, Co-Founder & CEO at Neoma

Too often technology is seen as this scary thing that comes with the word disruptive. Technology does not have to be disruptive. It can be used to enhance the experience instead of being scary and expensive. – Yves N’Gakoutou, Co-Founder & CEO at Spectra

Office spaces are like shopping items from amazon. Everything can be booked, shared and purchased via mobile. Using these technologies help improve the workplace experience. – Bob Zheng, Founder at People Squared

You have a consumer that is interested in a particular product but that doesn’t mean they’re going to get it directly from you. So think about the opportunities as a business where you could identify other businesses that you could have collaborative relationships with to help mutually benefit everybody but ultimately with the consumer at the center. – Chelsea Perino, Managing Director, Global Marketing & Communications at The Executive Centre

The impact of technology on operations and customer experience is a balance between collect and engage. How much you can collect, how precise, how far can it go and how much you can engage with the customers. – Francois Chaubaudie, Co-Founder & CEO at Neoma

I wanted to meet my colleagues and teammates.Talk about something other than work. You don’t do that on zoom meetings. It’s a social need. – Frank Fu, CTO & Founding Member at Artisan Technology

In terms of consumers, Gen Z will over take millennials as the largest cohort and they are bringing with them a huge number of changes that companies will have to adjust to. The way they perceive the relationship with a brand or with an operator. They might be a digital member but they value human interaction a lot.– Yves N’Gakoutou, Co-Founder & CEO at Spectra

For the future of the workspace all you need is a face and a mobile. Everything will be resolved with those two things. – Bob Zheng, Founder at People Squared

Technology piece of the workspace puzzle. Innovative technology is relevant to operators but it is more about the experience. An experience we all think about through different lenses. – Chelsea Perino, Managing Director, Global Marketing & Communications at The Executive Centre

Beyond collecting the data it’s about making that data accessible by the operations team and making sure those insights extracted from the data actually have an impact real time on the experience. – Yves N’Gakoutou, Co-Founder & CEO at Spectra

As always, we want to give a big shout out to our partners who helped make GCUC APAC happen. Without our partners at Hub Australia, Colliers, The Executive Centre and essensys – GCUC would not be as juicy.
